A decade ago, Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre wrote his memoirs. Now his wife, Deanna, has written hers.
"Don't Bet Against Me," by Deanna Favre with Angela Hunt, is Favre's story of her life with one of the NFL's biggest stars and her battle with breast cancer.
It's being released in October as part of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign, as is the "Pray for a Cure Bible," for which Deanna Favre has written a special foreword. The Bible will be bound in pink, to signify breast cancer awareness.
A portion of the royalties from each book will go to the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation.
Favre's book will sell for $22.99; the Bible will sell for $9.99. Both are from Tyndale House Publishers.
